Agriculture is vital to many economies, yet faces challenges like population growth, climate change, and resource limitations. To address these challenges, understanding the factors that drive farmers to adopt modern, sustainable, and efficient farming practices is essential. Factors include information access, affordability, risk, and social influences. Policymakers and researchers can use this understanding to develop programs and policies for sustainable food security and improved livelihoods.
Conventional methods for assessing farming practices often fall short. This research proposes a new software tool to visualize cropping trends and categorize farmers based on questionnaire responses. This innovative software offers a comprehensive view of farming practices, enabling targeted interventions and better agricultural development.
